Hield: There are some huge advantages for staying at Sanu's House, with only one real disadvantage in my opinion. The hotel is located in the city of Patan (10 min walk to the square of Patan), which is directly next to Kathmandu. I did a little research for hotels around Kathmandu and I think that this one is the cheapest one around. The advantages:The rooms: My room was clean, had enough light, electricity and clean beds. I found it as good as u can it get for this price.Warm shower: All the showers I took where with warm water, and with warm i mean hot. There are ofcourse no showers in every room, as the price suggests, it's all shared.Sarita: Aggreeing with other reviewers, Sarita is probally the nicest hotel host you will ever have. She gives u advice on what to do, suggest common interests with travelers and is just everything u would suspect from a kind person. Meals: It is possible to have an breakfast/lunch/dinner for 100 rupee each. You will be sitting with fellow travelers, which is a great way to start talks. The only disadvantage was that the rooms on the front face the moterway, which is directly in front of the hotel. It is kinda hell during the day, but will calm down during the night.Sanu's House is the best option for the budget traveller. You should picture the hotel as the price should suggest, for me it was perfect. All the basic things which i need where there: Warm water, internet (there is internet during the power breaks), a basic but good bed and a cheap meal.I would highly suggest this to anyone who is not looking for a fancy hotel, but for the basics. Sanu's House has close to the best basics there are for this price.
